Your Place for Community Mental Health

Anyone who is 18 and over who is feeling scared, anxious, angry, sad, or just needs someone to talk to. You can walk-in or call ahead. The Living Room is a safe place where anyone 18 and over who is feeling scared, anxious, angry, sad or just needs someone to talk to- can talk with a peer when you are experiencing life’s emotional stresses.

The trained peer recovery support specialists use their personal experience to help you find and maintain your recovery. Services are free of charge.

Community Alert Colors: Amber - children 17 and under whose whereabouts are unknown. Silver- adults 65 and older or known to have Alzheimer’s whose whereabouts are unknown. Blue- violent offenders whom have killed or seriously injured a member of law enforcement. Camo/Green- current or former military personnel whose whereabouts are unknown. Clear- others that do not fall into the above categories but still meet the requirements of a missing person. Purple- Change.org is assisting with making this a new community color alert to assist victims of domestic violence whose whereabouts are unknown.

K9’s For Warriors.org

Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.

Educational guides for Veterans with substance abuse and PTSD. This is a treatment facility based out of New Jersey. If you know someone struggling with substance abuse, please seek professional care or reach out to us or the Recovery Village for additional resources.

We offer confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Our services include counseling for needs such as depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST).
